Bisexual

Q: When did you first suspect that you were bisexual?
A: Well, at school in sixth grade I had a crush on a girl. But, online I had gotten into yaoi. I denied that I wasn't straight for a year because I knew I really liked this girl and I always heard bad stuff about gay people. I admitted to myself that I was bi in seventh grade. I started attending a new school and it was more accepting. In health we were told that LGBT people were nice, while at my old school the teacher said "Gay people get AIDS more because they have more butt-sex" or something like that. I had a crush on another girl in this school but I also found my friend (who is a boy) very attractive and he recently came out as gay! I eventually realized that I was attracted to both genders.

Q: Did you ever come out publicly? If so, who did you tell first?
A: I am completely open online but the only real life person that knows is one of my friends. (Not the gay one I have a crush on unfortunately) I feel like it would be awkward if my parents knew, and at school I would get picked on. (The person that knows doesn't go to my school). One day I want to come out to my parents, but I don't know if they will accept me. Especially my dad, who's always talking about me dating girls, having sex with girls, and marrying a girl. he's described gay people as "wackos" and when I told him I had a crush on a girl, he said "good! that means your normal"

Q: Are you planning on telling the boy that you have a crush on that you like him?
A: I might next year when were in high school. if I do then I will tell my parents first. I kinda think that he likes me. when I started the new school, he was the first person to become my friend and sometimes it seems like he's checking me out. I'm probably just being hopeful though.

Q: Since you are only fully open online, have you ever gotten a hateful comment from anybody?
A: I have gotten many hateful comments on a deviation of a slash pairing that I put up. I just ignore them because I know that only idiots post those comments.

Q: Do you think that LGBT men are more discriminated against then LGBT women? If so, why do you think that is?
A: I think LGBT men are more discriminated on because most homophobes are guys and they enjoy watching lesbians.

Q: How do you feel about same-sex couples adopting a child?
A: I don't see any problems with it. All kids deserve 2 loving parents.

Q: Have you ever boycotted something because of Anti-LGBT funding
A: No but I did sign a petition to end the killing of gay people in eastern countries.

Q: What is your most hated anti-LGBT argument?
A: The one I hate the most is when people say that the bible bans gay sex. That was the beginning of the bible. God and Jesus love all people and thinks it's okay to have sex with whoever you want.

Q: Have you heard of the "It Gets Better Project"? If so, what are your views on it?
A: I think it is good for LGBT kids to hear there favorite people tell them that it gets better. however, some of the stars have a voice that says "I was paid to say this" so I have a very mixed opinion.

Q: I'd like to thank you for participating. Is there anything you'd like to say to any LGBT youth that is going through a tough time right now?
A: I would like to say to all LGBT kids that there is nothing wrong with you. you are special and you were born the way you are, and you should be happy about it. you aren't going to go to hell for the way god created you. you shouldn't listen to anyone who says you are less then anyone else. In the words of Lady Gaga: "No matter gay straight or bi, lesbian trans gender life, I'm on the right track baby I was born to survive!"(Born this Way)

I think this is great. I find it intesresting to know that this boy is the same age as me. I never really knew what age kids might start to have these feeligns and a think it is very amazing how mature he is about it
